Electric Piano

I wanted a fairly melodic electric piano sound and came up with this.

The middle oscillator has a slight amount of supersaw, whilst the first and third have a fairly sharp attack.

In my original patches 0-5, I reduced the amount of release time to make it sound more like an acoustic piano. However, this seemed to make each sound lack slightly in tonal quality.

Eventually, I have ended up with this patch, which I am quite pleased with.

I hope you like it to.

Not really. The Grauws library / editor is very straight forward to use and doesn't need to install to use it. It think there is a Mac version as well.

A while ago I did a quick go at a piano sound for someone on Facebook, I can’t find the description anymore unfortunately (I think the OP may have removed the thread) but it’s based on preset patch D-4. Disclaimer: I didn’t spend much time on it, it’s pretty rough and only sounds good in the upper half of the keys, but I guess I can just post it anyway :). This is what I ended up with:

I've improved the sound of this patch and added some acoustic bass (made using the gaia).
The first part of the sound file is using an arpeggio pattern created with Grauw's editor. Sounds quite jazzy.
See what you think...
