No more need for a Korg! GAIA saved the day! I have discovered the 8 PCM sounds and the brass is almost just what I was looking for. Not perfect though, I would like some aftertouch modulation, but I find it more useful than the brasses on PC3 or NE3 (for pop/rock music that is).

Happy :D

Heh :).

Just wish it had a piano in those 8 PCM sounds instead of say, the violin. That’s just useful to have sometimes.

I have a Fantom-G8 with the Gaia. =D
I'm selling my G8 to get a V-Synth GT or the one that comes after the GT.

Did you consider Reaper?

Mmh, I dunno, I might win this prize:

Roland GAIA SH-01
Fender guitar
Accordion
Windows 7 with Reaper

Maybe I can beef it up a little:

Rock Band 3 MIDI keyboard
Mini Theremin (youtube)
Radeon HD 5770 w/ 7.1 HDMI audio
Onkyo TX-SR508 receiver
Sennheiser HD 448 headphones

I'll give it a try. I have downloaded the 30 days trial version.

Thanks!

I would second that. Reaper is an excellent piece of software, if you don't mind wading through quite wordy command lists.
Certainly, midi control and recording is very functional.
