Recording arpeggios in DAW?

Postby inclination » Tue Dec 06, 2011 4:28 am

Hey guys.

I've got my Gaia hooked up to my computer via USB and I'm recording it into Reaper. It works great, except I can't get the arpeggiator to work while it's connected to the DAW. Non-arpeggiated patches work fine, but once I switch on the arpeggiator, I get no sound/response. Similarly, the LFOs don't seem to be working on patches that are tempo synced. They just switch to a flat rate of no oscillation. It doesn't seem to make sense because the effects tempo syncs just fine to the tempo in the DAW. Any ideas?

You need to set the clock source to USB. See page 52 in the manual. I don't use Reaper (I use fruity loops) so can't advise how but you'll also need to be sure to send the midi sync signal from the DAW.
