MIDI controller troubles

Postby chinklet » Tue Dec 13, 2011 10:12 am

i'm trying to use my gaia as a midi controller and am having a lot of difficulty.
currently i have a roland ua-25ex interface in a USB port in my computer and have connected instrument leads and midi cables correctly into the gaia, however i cannot use it as a controller in FL9 or reason 5.
the drivers for the gaia and interface are installed.
is there a particular setting the ua-25ex or gaia has to be on in order to be detected?
i have tried just about everything to get it working... any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use the Gaia with Cubase using USB without any trouble.
I installed the driver software that came with it and am using USB interface.
As long as the Gaia is on and connected before I boot up Cubase it works with no setup.

Click on Downloads to get the latest driver here: http://www.rolandus.com/products/produc ... uctId=1074

Anyone have experience with Fruity Loops or Reason?

I have a related problem with my pots. When I turn the knobs, I can hear each step upwards or downwards... :(
