Manual Mode

Postby Maxoreilly » Wed Feb 01, 2012 6:40 pm

Just recently purchased a Gaia, love the tones and the versatility, but I'm all about the tweakabity of the knobs. Is there any way to lock manual mode, either saved in the system or at least while the Gaia is on? It's such a hassle to have to constantly turn it on after every patch. I'm not even sure if it stays on while selecting between the 3 tones.

Thanks!

Manual isn’t a mode of operation, but a function, an action. It overwrites the current (temporary) patch parameters, once, it does not stay active. If it were overwriting these continuously, switching patches would have no effect. Similarly, if it would do this while switching tones, it would overwrite a tone the second it is selected. I don’t see how that would be practical.

What are you trying to do? If you only want to operate on a single state (the position of the knobs), why do you switch patches at all?
