USB Problems...

Hello there,
i have a problem with the usb-storage.
when i have just maked a new sound on my gaia, i will save this on my usb-stick.
the problem is, when the gaia is finished with writing, he get back to the old preset... and my new sound is gone!
I've just mailed roland this problem, but i get no answer!! :-(

can anybody help me?

You must insert the usb memory first and then press the 'patch' button, so that it lights up.
Now go ahead and make a new patch.

Once you have created the new patch, press 'write' twice and it will save the new patch to usb memory.
But you must have the memory stick inserted first and the USB memory 'patch' button lit.

It's just like saving to the User Patch area and patches can be placed in locations such as, A1, A2, A3 etc.

Sascha...as soon as you get a few good patches...use Grauw's editor to save them and then post a few on this board.

hey there,

sorry for the long waiting time.
i have tested your instructions often... but i had no luck...

i am sitting in front of my gaia...
i am screwing and testing...
at the end i have a new, wonderful sound created...
i will save this sound on my usb-stick...
my gaia lights up the way its supposed to be...
after this my new sound is away...
i am sad...

i dont know what i should do more...

anyone an idea????
