Arpegiator tempo

Postby PePeGagnon » Fri Sep 30, 2011 5:18 pm

Is there another wy to change the tempo of an arpegiator other then tap tempo? I have to re-create a sound from a soft synth to play on a sequence and I can't find a way to change the tempo. I know that I can lock tempo from the computer or midi clock but I don't want my cpu live. Anybody has an idea how can I do it and be ultra tight on the tempo?

The only way that I am aware of being able to do this is to use Grauw's editor and to save the patch with the arpeggio tempo already set.

In the GAIA tool you also have rough control over the arpeggio speed relative to the current tempo with the Grid setting in the patch’s arpeggio tab, e.g. if the arpeggio step duration is eights, you can make it go twice as fast or twice as slow.

Is there any way to set the arp note length without hooking up to a computer?
Would be great to be able to switch between quarter notes, eighth notes, sixteenth notes etc...
