Playing 8 PCM sounds on the GAIA

To play one of eight PCM sounds, hold the PRESET PATCH key and press a number.

The sounds are: organ, strings, brass section, violin, trumpet, clarinet, voice ooh, choir aah.

A nice bonus! No piano unfortunately.

Wow!! Nice find!!! I still wish you could play the in-built general midi sounds from within the keyboard itself....

I connected 'band in a box' to the gaia and it played all of the individual pcm midi sounds with ease. I has quite a warm tone across the various instruments.

Being able to turn off the PCM sounds so I can sync my Gaia arps to my drum machine would be even awesomer.
I get lumbered with my SPD triggering random piano plonks in my beat... :?

As of system update 1.03 you can now turn off the GM engine:
